Terms of Service
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Grove Reunions is operated by AutomationFire, LLC. In these terms, “Grove,” “we,” and “us” mean AutomationFire, LLC, doing business as Grove Reunions.
Agreement
By using Grove Reunions, on the website or in the Grove Reunions app, you agree to these terms. If you are organizing an event, you are responsible for the content and communications sent through your Grove workspace.
Accounts
You need an account to organize a reunion. Guests can RSVP without an account using a personal link. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents, guardians, and organizers may add children to their family and RSVPs; see the Privacy Policy section on children's information.
Payments
Payment collection between organizers and attendees is handled through Stripe Connect. Funds go directly to the organizer's connected Stripe account. Grove creates the checkout for each payment, but the money is paid into the organizer's own account. Grove does not hold or have access to collected funds. For Grove Reunions, Grove receives none of it; for Grove Commons tickets, Grove receives only its platform fee (see Grove Commons below). Stripe's terms of service apply to all payment transactions.
The organizer is the seller. When you collect money from guests through Grove, by card or as a manual payment you record (cash, check, or a payment app), you are the seller and the guest is paying you. Grove is not a party to payments between organizers and guests. AutomationFire, LLC does not hold those funds and can't issue refunds on an organizer's behalf.
Organizer responsibilities. As the organizer collecting money, you are responsible for:
- Setting your own refund policy and honoring it. You can add it to your reunion's pricing so guests see it before they pay.
- Giving refunds when they are owed.
- Responding to chargebacks and payment disputes on your account.
- Any taxes on the money you collect.
Stripe's terms. When you connect payouts, you open your own Stripe account and agree to Stripe's terms, including the Stripe Services Agreement and, where it applies, the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Your Stripe account is between you and Stripe.
What you can collect for. Grove may only be used to collect money for reunions and related gatherings: registration, tickets, shirts, meals, lodging, and activities. Do not use it to sell unrelated goods or services, or for any business Stripe prohibits under its restricted businesses list.
If these payment rules are broken, we may suspend payment collection for that reunion or workspace.
Grove Commons
Grove Commons is the part of Grove for communities that gather again and again (creators, clubs, chapters and similar groups). The rules above apply, with these additions.
The host is the seller. When a Commons host sells tickets, the buyer is paying the host, through the host's own connected Stripe account. The host is responsible for the event, its refund policy, refunds, chargebacks and taxes, as described above for organizers.
Grove's platform fee. Grove keeps 7% of the price of each paid Commons ticket as a platform fee. It is collected by Stripe at the moment of payment as an application fee, and the rest goes to the host's account. Card processing fees are charged by Stripe to the host's account. There is no monthly fee and no fee on free tickets. The fee is shown to the host before they sell. If a host refunds a ticket, Grove's fee on it is not returned. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the fee.
Buyers. Buying a Commons ticket does not require a Grove account. Your ticket is sent to the email you give at checkout; anyone with your ticket link can show it, so keep it private. Questions about an event or a refund go to its host.
What hosts can sell. Tickets to gatherings the host runs for their community. The restricted businesses rule above applies.
Content
You retain ownership of content you post on Grove. By posting, you grant Grove a license to display that content to other members of your group. Organizers can moderate and remove content within their workspace. Grove may remove content that violates these terms.
Acceptable use
Grove is built for reunion planning and family/group community. Do not use it for spam, harassment, illegal activity, or commercial purposes unrelated to group event planning. Organizers are responsible for moderating their community spaces.
Objectionable content and abusive users
Grove has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post or send anything that is hateful, harassing, bullying, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise abusive, and do not use Grove to target, intimidate, or impersonate anyone. These rules apply everywhere on Grove: posts, comments, chat messages, direct messages, Story Circle messages and recordings, memories, photos, videos, and profiles.
Report it. Anyone in a group can report a post, comment, chat message, direct message, Story Circle message, memory, or person's profile, on the website or in the app. A report goes to the organizers of that family or group, who review it and can hide the content.
Block people. You can block another member of your group. You will no longer see their posts, comments, or messages, and they can't start a direct message with you. You can unblock them anytime.
Tell us. You can also report content or a person directly to Grove at support@grovereunions.com. We review every report sent to support and act on it within 24 hours: we remove content that breaks these rules and remove the accounts of people who post it or who abuse others.
Text messages
Text messages are optional and sent only to people who opt in on grovereunions.com. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase or RSVP. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The full terms for our text program are in our Text Message Terms, which are part of these terms.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will notify users of planned maintenance. Data is backed up regularly through Supabase's infrastructure.
Cancellation
You can cancel your account at any time. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account from Settings, Privacy & your data on the website, from More, Delete my account in the app (or email privacy@grovereunions.com). We confirm your request by email and reply when it's done. Paid plans can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase, as long as no guest payments have been collected through Grove under that plan.
Changes
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email to account holders. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
